Stock Market Alert - EMC could get a boost on Friday after the stock was featured in an article due out in Businessweek. The article featured an interview with the chief executive of a boutique investment firm who surmised that EMC shares are cheap and should go higher. The stock, which has recovered nicely over the last few months, closed on Thursday at $13.37, about a point and a half off of its 52 week high of $14.75. Volume was average on Thursday, but I would expect a bit of a bump in volume on Friday after this article. EMC currently has a market cap of just under $30 billion dollars.
