Volume was extremely heavy, with over 11.7 million shares of the stock changing hands, compared to a normal daily average volume of 864k shares. The stock closed Friday with a market cap of $109 million dollars, and currently has a 52 week high of $2.30. Why did the stock surge on Friday? I’m not sure myself; there was no news that I saw, and no analyst action. My best guess would be that a major newsletter or publication touted the stock. I will keep digging and let you all know.
