Posted on Monday 24 July 2006

NVDA surged over 10% on Monday after it was announced that AMD was going to be buying ATI for $5.4 billion dollars. This led to speculation that NVDA may be a possible buyout target as well sometime in the future, though NVDA management came out and stated that they have no current intentions of merging with another company.
