JNPR, which had a strong session on Thursday in the regular session, trading up over 5% to close at $15.29, is poised for yet another strong session on Friday, after the company announced that it was going to be entering the S + P 500. JNPR is currently trading up an extra 6% in the afterhours session, and is currently trading at $16.22. JNPR will be taking the place of ABS, which is being acquired by SVU. I believe that the entry date of JNPR into the index is dependant on the closing date of the ABS/SVU deal, which is still unknown at this time. Expect a strong session for JNPR on Friday, don’t be surprised to see a 8-9% move on Friday when all is said and done. JNPR has a 52 week high of $27.65.
