CALM Up on Q3 Earnings

CALM had a strong day on Monday, trading up almost 25% on heavy volume (1.9 million shares vs. normal daily average volume of 89k shares) after reporting Q3 earnings that were well-received by the Street. CALM closed at $7.87 on the day, and currently has a 52 week high of $8.44. CALM was up on Monday after reporting Q3 net income of $8 million dollars, or 34 cents per share, on sales of $130.1 million dollars, up from $101 million in the year ago quarter. The market cheered the company’s positive Q4 outlook, with the CEO reporting that the fourth quarter is off to a strong start. CALM has a market cap of $186 million dollars.
